Catch Brooklyn Rider, a quartet of indie composers devoted both to the interpretation of existing quartet literature and to the creation of new works, for just $20 at Carnegie Hall! Pitchfork says that Brooklyn Rider are “poised to earn attention on their own terms — regardless of which composers they work with,” and this performance will be testament their attention-grabbing excellence. On October 31 at 7:30PM, these “unexpected and eclectic” musicians will debut their own composition, Seven Steps, as well as pieces by Philip Glass (String Quartet No. 3, "Mishima"), John Zorn (Kol Nidre), Beethoven (String Quartet in C-sharp Minor, Op. 131), and Christoper Tignor (together into this unknowable night).
Tickets are normally priced between $27-$35, but from October 25 - 28* all seats are being offered to skint readers for only $20! Just enter promotion code “SKT13035” when selecting your seats to take advantage of this special offer.
