Abe’s Penny is an innovative art and literature magazine, printed on a series of four postcards with a narrative that unfolds in sequence, one part per week. With a different artist and writer collaborating on each issue, the combination of photographs and text creates a temporal, collectible object. Launched in March 2009 and independently published by sisters Anna and Tess Knoebel, Abe's Penny has delighted subscribers who love receiving something in their mailboxes besides junk and bills. And in June, the Knoebels launched Abe’s Peanut, the Abe's Penny for kids.
