HEY BROOKLYN WITH I'M FROM DRIFTWOOD'S NATHAN MANSKE

This week on Hey Brooklyn: Nathan Manske collects true stories by gay people from all over and publishes the writings on his website I’m From Driftwood. Nathan started IFD as a way to collect the personal stories of the LGBT community. He maintains strict standards of materials submitted: personal essays only, which keeps the site apolitical and human. Nathan also conducts video interviews and posts them on the site, too.

We talked about the struggles some people face when coming out and living their lives honestly and normally.
