Kurt Rosenwinkel has been called “the sound of the future” (Chicago Tribune). In his Carnegie Hall debut, he presents The Brahms Project, in which fresh arrangements by pianist Jean-Paul Brodbeck transform the harmonically rich works of the master Romantic-period composer into groove-oriented sandboxes for improvisation.
