Schumann’s witty and energetic Faschingsschwank aus Wien (Carnival Jest from Vienna), a timeless nocturne by Chopin, one of Prokofiev’s most forceful piano sonatas, and a piece dedicated to Bronfman by renowned conductor and composer Esa-Pekka Salonen.
